The scanner can search up to 14 separate frequency ranges to help you discover new stations in your area. To set up a search band, enter into the band search mode.

1.Press SRCH. The upper and lower limits of the bands currently selected appear.

2.Press e or d to select the band you want to search.

Notes After about 2 seconds, the scanner will begin searching that band, or press HOLD/RESUME to begin immediately.

You must set the search bands prior to any searching.
