2.4.1Other PTZ functions

The following PTZ functions may be available as well provided the keyboard being used supports the function. Refer to your specific keyboard user manual.

ZOOM IN .. by pressing (and holding) the key. Releasing the key will halt the Zoom function.

ZOOM OUT .. by pressing (and holding) the key. Releasing the key will halt the Zoom function.

FOCUS FAR .. by pressing (and holding) the key. Releasing the key will halt the Focus function.

FOCUS NEAR .. by pressing (and holding) the key. Releasing the key will halt the Focus function.

IRIS OPEN .. By pressing (and holding) the key. Releasing the key will halt the manual-iris function.

IRIS CLOSE .. by pressing and (holding) the key. Releasing the key halt the manual-iris function.

WASH .. by pressing (and holding) the key. Releasing the key will halt the wash function.

WIPE .. by pressing (and holding) the key. Releasing the key will halt the wipe function.

NOTE: With the proper equipment installed, PTZ sites can have variable speed controls for the Pan/Tilt and Focus/Zoom functions. When a PTZ function is selected from the keyboard, you'll have 'half' speed for the first second. After that, 'full' speed is attained. This allows faster movement from one point to another. It also allows greater precision when making minor adjustments for a proper view.
