Even though the camera's video signal if NOT lost, the camera scene is electronically monitored. If the video picture should go completely black for several seconds, then a 'LOW-LEVEL VIDEO' alarm is generated identifying that camera.

Area lighting being turned OFF, the lens of the camera being covered, or the lens iris being completely closed could cause this alarm.
