4.1.5Standby-Sync Port

A 9-pin female connector is used on the OSMs/ESMs with 8 ports to connect the ITP XP standard cable 9/9 for the redundant standby coupling. The casing of the connector is electrically connected to the casing of the OSM/ESM.

The OSM TP22 and ESM TP40 do not have a standby-sync port.

A screw locking mechanism holds the connectors firmly in place.
