To take a full advantage of the printer features, be familiar with

 

each property that the printer provides.

1Selectbar. Start ➝ Settings ➝ Printers from the Windows task

Shows the amount of ink remaining in each cartridge.

Click this button to order supplies from Samsung’s World

Wide Web site.

For more information about the print cartridge, see Chapter 9.

Click to install or replace the print cartridge.

Click to clean the print nozzles.

Click to align printheads.

2Double-click the SCX-1000 Series icon.

3Select Printer ➝ Properties.

The Properties dialog box allows you to access all the information you will need when using your printer.

4Click the appropriate tab, and then select/deselect the required options.
