7. Setting the functions (Memory SW menu)

System setting 2

PRG ALL INIT ( Program All Initial )

All settings of 3 memory programs to store each function is initialized.

ON

Each setting function is initialized

OFF

Not initialized

This function is available when selecting “OK” in the “CHANGE : OK/ CANCEL/INIT” of “MEMORY

SW MENU” and pressing the SET button.

Once this function is set to “ON” and the source image is displayed,the setting is initialized and the image stored in the memory is cleared even if this function is set to “OFF”.

BAUD RATE

Function Setting the Baud Rate according to connected equipment. Refer to pages 19-21 .

COMMAND TYPE

Function Setting the RS-232C command type.

Select “A” or “B” according to connected equipment.

Normally, set the “COMMAND TYPE” to “A”. Refer to page 20.

RESPONSE

Function Select the RS-232C response from the unit to be sent back or not to the host computer. Select “RET(return)” or “NO” .

RET (RETURN)

The RS-232C response is sent back to the host computer.

NO

The RS-232C response is not sent back to the host computer.

REMOTE BUSY

Function Setting the BUSY signal of remote terminal (REMOTE 1/ REMOTE 2) on the rear panel. Normally, set the “REMOTE BUSY” to “H”.

Select “H” or “L” according to connected equipment. Refer to page 20.

H (HIGH)

The VCP cannot accept the remote input signal when the signal is “HIGH”.

L (LOW)

The VCP cannot accept the remote input signal when the signal is “LOW”.

REMAINING

Function Inform the number of remaining paper by a buzzer tone.

OFF

This function is not available.

0

The buzzer sounds five times as the point you set.

 

The setting area is 0 to 10.

Please observe the following precautions when you use this function.

If a paper jam occurs, the remaining paper may not be informed correctly.

Do not change the ink sheet size S to L ( or L to S) in the middle of using ink sheet.

Make sure to replace the print paper and ink sheet at the same time.

Make sure to use the new one when you set the ink sheet and print paper.

Do not feed the print paper after you set the print paper.
