7 EXECUTE Press EXECUTE.

Auto Clock Set starts searching for a TV station that carries the time signal, and sets the clock time automatically. The date is also set if the TV station transmits date data.

When the clock setting is complete, the following screen appears.

If the unit’s VCR does not receive the time signal from any station, “1.1. 1996 MON 0:00” appears and AUTO ADJUST is set to OFF.

If the clock setting is not correct, adjust the date and time manually or change the station for Auto

Clock Set using CURSOR >/./?//.

The setting procedures are the same as those described in “Manual setup — Setting the clock” on page 29.
