TV CONTROL

ON

Watching a TV programme

Press TV.

 

The TV and unit turn on.

Press the number buttons to select the programme position.

 

For two-digit numbers, press ? before pressing the number

 

buttons.

To scan through programme positions, lift the top cover of the

remote commander, then press PROG +/–.

Selecting a stereo or bilingual programme

Press AUDIO MONITOR. Each press changes the sound between bilingual and stereo.

Using the WIDE function

Press TV WIDE. Each press changes the WIDE mode.

Displaying Teletext

1Select a TV channel which carries the Teletext broadcast you want to watch.

2Lift the top cover of the remote commander and press f to display the Teletext.

To access the next or previous page

Lift the top cover of the remote commander and press PROG +/– ( / ) .

To turn off Teletext

Press ; .

You cannot use the on- screen display while the unit is in TV control mode.

Using FASTEXT

This feature allows you to quickly access a Teletext page that uses FASTEXT. When a FASTEXT page is broadcast, a colour-coded menu appears at the bottom of the screen. The colours of the menu correspond to the red, green, yellow, and blue buttons on the remote commander. These coloured buttons function as the FASTEXT buttons in Teletext mode.

Press the coloured button which corresponds to the colour-coded menu. The page is displayed after a few seconds.
