Using the unit after setting the timer

You can use the unit to select and listen to or watch other input sources (see “Audio/Video Equipment Operations” from page 44) during timer recording standby and timer recording.

To use the unit’s VCR before a timer recording begins, just press TIMER REC ON/OFF. The TIMER indicator turns off and the unit’s VCR switches on. Remember to press TIMER REC ON/OFF again to reset the timer after using the unit‘s VCR.

You can also do the following VCR related tasks while the unit’s VCR is recording:

•Reset the counter.

•Display tape information on the TV screen.

•Check the timer settings.
