5FAST FORWARD / FAST REVERSE

Press [FWD D] or [REV E] repeatedly

during playback to select the required for- E 1 ward or reverse speed.

To continue playback, press [PLAY B].

NOTE:

•Set “STILL MODE” to “FIELD” in the “OTHERS“ setting if pictures in the fast playback mode are blurred. (Refer to page 43.)

•Fast forward or reverse search speed is varies with disc. Approximate speed is 1(2X), 2(8X), 3(20X), 4(50X) and 5(100X) on DVDs and 1(2X), 2(8X) and 3(30X) on Audio CDs and MP3.

•For Audio CDs and MP3, sound will be output during Fast for- ward or reverse search.

5SLOW FORWARD / SLOW REVERSE

during the pause mode to select the1 required forward or reverse speed.

To continue playback, press [PLAY B].

•Slow forward or reverse speed varies with disc. Approximate speed is 1(1/16X), 2(1/8X) and 3(1/2X).

•Set “STILL MODE” to “FIELD” in the “OTHERS“ setting if pictures in the slow playback mode are blurred. (Refer to page 43.)

5ZOOM		INTRODUCTION

The zoom function allows you to enlarge the video image
and to pan through the enlarged image.		PREPARATION
1 During playback, press [ZOOM].
		SETTING
• The picture becomes twice as large.

2Press [ZOOM] repeatedly to change the required zoom factor; “x2“, “x4“ or “OFF“.

3 Once a desired zoom factor is set, use [K / L / s / B]
to slide the zoomed picture across the screen.

4 To exit zoom function, press [ZOOM] repeatedly to		DVD
	select “OFF“.
		TROUBLESHOOTING
	NOTE:
	• Zooming function does not work while the disc menu is dis-
	played.
	• 4X zoom is not available on some discs.
	• Only 2X zoom is available on JPEG files.
	• Zoom function is also available during pause mode.
	• Position guide is not available for JPEG files.
