Stereo Sound Mode

This unit allows you to select a sound mode during CD playback.

1Press [AUDIO] repeatedly until the desired sound mode appears.

STEREO

•Each time you press [AUDIO], the audio language changes as example below.

STEREO (Right and left channels are active.)

L-ch(Left channel is active.)

R-ch(Right channel is active.)

NOTE:

•Virtual Surround cannot be changed when the sound mode is set to either L-ch or R-ch.

You can enjoy virtual surround sound on your existing 2 channel stereo system.

2: Emphasized effect.

OFF : No effects (original sound).

3To exit the Virtual Surround setting, press [BACK/RETURN].

NOTE:

•The setting will be kept even if the unit is turned off.

•On Audio CDs, Virtual Surround will not be effective if the sound mode is set to something other than “STEREO”. Refer to “Stereo Sound Mode”.

•Turn down the level or select “OFF” if the sound is distorted.

This feature allows you to assign a specifi c point on a disc to be called back
later.			PREPARATION

To set a marker
	During playback, press [SEARCH MODE] repeatedly

2 Use [s / B] to select a desired marker within 30 sec-

3 Press [ENTER] to set the marker.
4 To exit the Marker setup display,

To return to the marker later			DVD
1 In stop mode, press [SEARCH MODE] repeatedly until

2 Use [s / B] to select a desired marker within 30 sec-

	or
3 Press [ENTER] at the desired marker to restart playback
	from the specific point which you set.
			INFORMATION
	• You can mark up to 10 points.
	NOTE:
	• The Marker display will disappear in about 30 seconds when
	there is no input.
	• To clear a marker, select the marker to be cleared at step 2 in
	the section “To set a marker” or “To return to the marker later”,
	and then press [CLEAR].
	• Ejecting the disc or turning off the power will erase all markers.		ESPAÑOL

return to the marker later” will also erase all markers.
