Stereo Sound Mode
CD
This unit allows you to select a sound mode during CD playback.
1Press [AUDIO] repeatedly until the desired sound mode appears.
STEREO
•Each time you press [AUDIO], the audio language changes as example below.
STEREO (Right and left channels are active.)
NOTE:
•Virtual Surround cannot be changed when the sound mode is set to either

You can enjoy virtual surround sound on your existing 2 channel stereo system.
1During playback, press [MODE] repeatedly until the ““ appears.

2Press [ENTER] to select the sound level.

1: Natural effect.
2: Emphasized effect.
OFF : No effects (original sound).
3To exit the Virtual Surround setting, press [BACK/RETURN].
NOTE:
•The setting will be kept even if the unit is turned off.
•On Audio CDs, Virtual Surround will not be effective if the sound mode is set to something other than “STEREO”. Refer to “Stereo Sound Mode”.
•Turn down the level or select “OFF” if the sound is distorted.
