Tone settings
You can switch the tone settings between „Nor- mal“ and „Speech“.
Volume correction
The sound signals from different stations may vary considerably in their volume. You can correct the volume of a particularly loud or soft station so that it is similar to that of the other stations. The volume correction remains active even when the standard values are recalled.
Standard settings
Standard settings are all values (such as bright- ness, volume, chrominance, etc.) which are the same for all programme positions.
Spatial sound
An artificial stereo effect can be generated for mono transmissions.
Noise reduction
This setting can be used to improve the quality of pictures with „snow“ or other noise resulting from poor reception conditions. Depending on the amount of interference, various correction facilities are available and the noise reduction can be set individually for each programme position.
VCR
The VCR function ensures optimum picture quality when playing back recordings from tape devices such as camcorders and video recorders.
Video level (optional)
The video level adjustment can be used to achieve a uniform contrast for Sat stations with varying modulation levels. However, this adjustment affects only the signal at the EURO sockets and the cor- rect setting must be determined by trial and error (by making test recordings).
