Advanced Setting Menu:

You can make all the settings available as follows.

Easy Setting Menu

1 Playback:

Set up the unit to play back a disc.

2 Recording:

Set up the unit to record to a disc.

3 Display:

Set up the screen and the front panel display of the unit.

4 Select Video:

Choose an external input to record from other video equipment to DVDs.

5 Clock:

Set the unit clock.

6 Channel:

Set up and adjust channels.

7 Disc / CD Playback Mode:

“Disc” is available only when a DVD-RW / R disc is inserted into the unit. If a DVD-Video (commercially available), a new DVD-R disc or the finalised DVD-R disc is inserted into the unit, you cannot select “Disc.” “CD Playback Mode” is available only when an Audio CD, Video CD or a CD-RW / R disc containing MP3 / JPEG files is inserted into the unit.

This is an example screen for explanation. Some items will be displayed in grey depending on the inserted disc.

1Title List / Playlist / Original:

Display the titles recorded on the disc.

2Format (DVD-RW only):

Erase all of the recorded content on the disc.

It is not possible to recover erased content. Make sure before you format a disc.

It is not possible to use a disc formatted in Video mode with this unit on other DVD recorder. When you use a disc with other DVD recorder, format a disc using that DVD recorder.

3 Finalise:

Finalise a disc containing recorded titles.

4 Disc Protect (VR mode only):

Protect a disc from accidental over-recording, editing or erasing.

5 Random Play:

Activate the random playback feature.

6Program Play (except MP3 / JPEG files):

Activate the programmed playback feature.

7PBC (Video CD only):

Turn the PBC function “ON” or “OFF”.

8Slide Show (JPEG files only):

Select the display time.
