How to Set Disc Language

This is to select the Language of the Soundtrack, Subtitles, and Disc Menus.

Dialog

This selects the dialog language that will be heard when the DVD Disc is played.

Note: The Alternate Languages of French and Spanish may not be available on all DVD Discs.

1.Press the SETUP Push-button on the supplied Remote Control to access the On-Screen Disc Setup Menu. Re- fer to figures 4 and 7.

Note: If there is a Disc playing in the MVP861 press the STOP Push-button twice before pressing the SETUP Push-button.

2. Use the Down directional Push-button followed by the SELECT Push-button on the Remote Control to se- lect the Dialog Menu.

3. To change the English setting to another language use the Up or Down directional Push-buttons followed by the SELECT Push-button.

Notes: The title of the icon button-bar will change color from yellow (the cursor color) to green indicating the selected item. The choice of “Others” is for use outside of North America.

4.Return to the Disc Setup Menu by pressing the Up directional Push-button.

5.Next continue to the SUBTITLE Settings. If no other

changes are to be made in Setup Mode at this time, exit by pressing the Down directional Push-button to se- lect the EXIT SETUP menu choice followed by the SELECT Push-button and the MVP861 will return to normal operation.

Note: The SETUP Push-button may be also pressed to exit the setup mode.

Subtitle

This selects the language that will be seen on the TV/Moni- tor when a DVD Disc is played and the Subtitle Mode is active.

Note: The Alternate Languages of French and Spanish may not be available on all DVD Discs.

1. Press the SETUP Push-button on the supplied Remote Control to access the On-Screen Disc Setup Menu. Re- fer to figures 4 and 7.

2. Use the Down directional Push-button followed by the SELECT Push-button on the Remote Control to se- lect the Subtitle Menu.
