Setting the video signal format

Use these operations to set the video signal format.

Example: Setting the video signal format to “3.58 NTSC”

Press the PROCEED button on the remote controller to

display the MAIN MENU on the screen, then...

1.Use the and buttons to select “INFORMATION,” then press the PROCEED button.

The “INFORMATION” screen appears.

2.Use the and buttons to select “COLOR SYSTEM,” then press the PROCEED button.

Press the EXIT button to return to the main menu. To close the main menu, press the EXIT button once more.

The color system is set to “3.58 NTSC.”

Video signal formats

Different countries use different formats for video signals. Set to the format used in your country. AUTO1/2 ......... The video signals are automatically

detected and the format is set accordingly.

AUTO1: 3.58NTSC, 4.43NTSC, PAL, SECAM, PAL60

AUTO2: PAL-M, PAL-N, 3.58NTSC

PAL (B, G) ....... This is the standard format used

mainly in the United Kingdom and Germany.

SECAM ............. This is the standard format used

mainly in France and Russia.

4.43 NTSC,

PAL60 .............. This format is used for videos in

countries using PAL and SECAM video signals.

3.58NTSC ...... This is the standard format used mainly in Japan and the United States.

PAL-M .............This is the standard format used

mainly in Brazil.

PAL-N ..............This is the standard format used

mainly in Argentina.
