Chapter 1 Introduction to the SRC-7000

1.3.1 Battery Precautions

Please pay attention to the following instructions:

1.Be sure that the positive (+) and negative (-) polarities of each battery match the polarities indicated in the compartment.

2.Do not expose the batteries to excessive heat or flame.

3.Keep the batteries away from children.

4.Low power batteries will reduce the effective distance of the unit.

5.Do not mix different type of batteries or mix new and used batteries at the same time.

If you use Ni-MH rechargeable batteries, please pay attention to the following.

a.Before the first use, please charge the batteries for 10 hours.

b.Do not recharge the batteries with an unqualified charger.

c.When the battery low warning icon appears, please recharge batteries right away.

d.Please renew the batteries immediately if the running time is lower than half of the running time of a new fully charged battery.

Warning:

When the battery low warning icon appears, you

 

may not enter the Setup Menu to operate the functions

 

such as using learning function, adding a Macro, or

 

deleting devices.

1.4 Turning the Touch Screen On

There are three ways to turn on

SRC-7000:

1.Picking up the SRC-7000. The motion detector design will turn the SRC-7000 on.

2.Pressing any rubber key.

3.Tapping the LCD touch screen.
