62 Auto Resume, Playback Control

Auto Resume

Auto resume affects the last 20 prerecorded DVDs and Video CDs you played. When Auto resume is On, play resumes where you last stopped the Disc. If Auto resume is Off, play starts at the beginning of the Disc.

1 Press SYSTEM MENU. Press ; to select in the top left corner of the Menu Bar at the top of the TV screen.

Press CH-9repeatedly to select

in the second screen,

2 then press :.

 

3 Press CH-9to select Auto resume, then press :.

Press CH+8 or CH-9to select On or Off, then press OK.

Playback Control

Some Video CDs have interactive menus that customize play. If the Video CD has Playback Control (PBC), follow these steps to turn it on or off.

1 Press SYSTEM MENU. Press ; to select in the top left corner of the Menu Bar at the top of the TV screen.

Press CH-9repeatedly to select

in the second screen,

2 then press :.

 

Press CH-9repeatedly to select PBC, then press :. PBC

appears in the menu only when a Video CD with Playback

3 Control is in the Recorder.

Helpful Hints

If resume appears when you start play, press PLAY : again. Play will resume from the last played point, even if Auto resume is Off. See page 22.

The display panel will be blank during play of a Video CD with

PBC On.
