A.Harness Use and Adjustment

1Harness Straps Adjustment:

To tighten: Pull harness adjuster strap (fig. a).

To loosen: While pressing harness adjuster lever, pull harness straps (fig. b).

2Chest Clip Operation:

• To open: Press tabs 1 and pull

• To close: Snap halves together.

Make sure chest clip

is locked by pulling out.

3 Buckle Operation:

 

• To buckle:

 

- Place top of buckle tongues together

Click

and insert buckle tongues into buckle

- Pull up on tongues to be sure they

(fig. d)

are locked.

 

To unbuckle:

-Press red button and pull tongues out of buckle.

B.Changing Harness Positions:

Rear-facing - Shoulder harness straps must be through slots at or just below shoulders.

-Use only middle or lowest harness strap slots for rear-facing.

Forward-facing - Shoulder harness straps must be at or above shoulders.

-Discontinue use of car seat if top shoulder harness slots are below shoulders of child.
