Delete Protection

Available mode:

CARD-VCR

You can prevent your important images recorded on the card from accidental erasure.

1 In CARD-VCR mode, press the MENU button until the menu screen appears.

2 Press l or m on the operation button to select S, then press the SET button.

3 Press l or m to select “PROTECT”, then press the SET button.

• The PROTECT indicator appears.

5 Press the SET button to set delete protection.

• The R indicator appears.

If you want to protect another image, repeat steps 4 and 5.

6 Press the MENU button to finish the setting.

To cancel the protection set- ting

1 Select the image for delete protection cancellation in step 4 above.

2 Press the SET button to cancel the protection.

• The R indicator disappears.

3 Press the MENU button to finish the setting.

Note:

Formatting a card erases all stored images, including delete-protected images.
