You can monitor pictures from multiple cameras on a multiscreen on the monitor multiscreen

Pictures of up to four cameras can be displayed as a group.

To monitor camera pictures on the multiscreen, the cameras need to be set up in advance. (See p. 50 for details.)

Note: Only still pictures (JPEG) can be monitored on a multiscreen.

1:Spot, go-return switch button

1-4:Multiscreen 1-4 (Group A), go-return switch button

5-8:Multiscreen 5-8 (Group B), go-return switch button

Click the Multiscreen 1-4 or 5-8 button, and you can see 4 pictures at a time.

Preset Select

You can see the preset viewpoint by clicking one of the 16 buttons.

Go to Main Menu

Click this button to access the Main Menu.

Indicates the name of the camera

ALARM

ALARM is indicated when alarm input is received.

AUTO PAN

On - Off switch button

HOME POSITION

The viewpoint is shifted to the HOME position when clicking this button. The home position can be changed only in the setup menu of the camera.

MULTI SHOT (Still picture)

Click the [MULTI SHOT] button.

8 still pictures are shown above of the joystick oval but- ton in the camera control window.

Click one of the eight pictures; the camera focuses on the preset position.

Notes:

MULTISHOT does not work while a camera menu is open.

The MULTISHOT function is canceled when cam- era control is performed.

You cannot operate MULTISHOT during access by other operators.

360 Map – Preset selector for MULTI SHOT

Select 360 Map or Preset by pressing the [o] button. 360 Map: The camera takes 8 still pictures while pan-

ning automatically by 45 degrees.

Preset: The camera takes 8 still pictures according to Preset 1 to Preset 8.

Notes:

Presets 9 to 16 are not available for taking pictures.

If you skip a preset position number in the setting, the skipped number cannot be preset afterward. The skipped number is replaced with its next previ- ous number, and the picture on the next previous number is displayed on the position of the skipped number.

MULTISHOT does not work normally when operat- ing on a low speed network.

The 8 still pictures will be erased when clicking the tabs of Alarm List or Setup Menu while executing this function.

The PAN LIMIT will be ignored when executing this function.

This function will stop when alarm arises.

Joystick Oval Button

Pan/tilt: Press the left button of your PC mouse on this button. The operation speed changes at the clicked position; the outside is faster than the middle position of the oval button.

Zoom/focus: Press the right button of your PC mouse on this button. The operation speed changes at the clicked position; the outside is faster than the middle position of the oval but- ton.

AF: Click the [AF] button, Auto focus turns on.

ZOOM: Press the [WIDE] or [TELE] button for adjustment.

FOCUS: Press the [NEAR] or [FAR] button for adjustment.

Or click the viewpoint of the camera image by pressing the left button of your PC mouse on the monitor screen; this shifts the clicked point to the center of the monitor screen.

AUX

HIGH: Output terminals are opened.(Open collec- tor)

LOW: Output terminals are shortened.(Open col- lector)

IRIS

CLOSE: Pressing closes the iris.

OPEN: Pressing opens the iris.

RESET: Returns the iris level to the factory default.

Access from a System Device

You can operate and set up the camera from connect- ed system devices such as a Video Multiplexer, Matrix Switcher, or system controller.

Note: For operating the camera from a system device, see the manual included with that device.
