Starting TMC Store

If you want to start TMC Store,

1switch to the radio functions menu by pressing the TUNE button A and

2press the softkey assigned to the PAGE 2 menu item.

3Press the softkey assigned to the TMCSTORE menu item.

✔The activity of TMC Store is indicated symbolically in the display. The progress is displayed as a percentage in the title line. After TMC Store has finished, all the stations stored in the FMC memory are played briefly, and the unit then switches to the station stored in memory location one.

Note: A TMC Store session can take a very long time because the entire frequency range is scanned for receivable TMC stations.

Reducing reception interference in FM mode

Neighbouring stations may occasionally cause interference to reception in FM radio mode. This occurs particularly when the stations are close together in the frequency range. The TravelPilot gives you the option of using the SHARX function to largely keep this kind of interference in check.

Activating / deactivating SHARX

To activate / deactivate the TravelPilot’s SHARX function,

1switch to the setup menu by pressing the MENU button : and

2keep pressing the softkey associated with the SHARX menu item until the required ON or OFF option appears. The default setting is ON.
