Starting scan seek tuning

To start scan seek tuning,

1switch to the radio functions menu by pressing the TUNE button A and

2press the softkey assigned to the PAGE 2 menu item.

3Press the softkey assigned to the SCAN menu item.

✔Scan seek tuning begins. The activity of the scan seek tuning operation is indicated symbolically in the display foreground.

Note: Only a TMC Scan can be carried out on the FMC level.

Stopping scan seek tuning

If you want to stop scan seek tuning or continue listening to a station set by the scan seek tuning operation,

1press the ESC button <.

✔Scan seek tuning is stopped and the station that was tuned into last will then continue to be heard.

TMC Scan

TMC Scan only tunes into stations that support the TMC feature.

Starting TMC Scan

To start a TMC Scan,

1switch to the radio functions menu by pressing the TUNE button A and

2press the softkey assigned to the PAGE 2 menu item.

3Press the softkey assigned to the TMC-SCANmenu item.

✔The TMC Scan begins. The activity of the scan seek tuning operation is indicated symbolically in the display foreground.
