You cannot alter the programming for important DSC settings unless you have entered the access code first (refer to the DSC menu item “CHANGE ACCESS- CODE”).

Boosts low frequencies for more bass, especially at low volume.

MASTER RESET

This menu item will appear only if a KeyCard is inserted.

Important!

This function will reset all of the settings in the DSC menu includ- ing the telephone menu to the fac- tory default settings.

All of the trained KeyCards and SIM cards will be deleted, except for the KeyCard currently in the unit.

If this menu item is selected, it will be necessary to enter the access code after OK. Enter the access code, press OK.

The display will show “MASTER RESET?”: Press CL to cancel this function, press OK to reset all of the settings to the default set- tings.

CHANGE ACCESSCODE

The access code is used to ac- cess the important DSC menu items (also for telephone opera- tion). At the factory, this code is set to “0000”.

If you would like to alter it be sure

to make a note of the new code!

Enter the original code (in this case “0000”) and press OK. Enter the new code, press OK. Enter the new code once again, press OK.

IGNITION TIMER

Use this setting to ensure that the car radio will play for a maximum of 90 minutes after the ignition has been switched off.

0 = ignition timer switched off.

AUXILIARY SOURCE

This menu item will not appear if a CD changer (A 05 or A 06) has been connected to the system.

The default setting is “AUXILIARY SOURCE OFF”.

If an external piece of equipment is connected to the system, this setting must be switched to

“AUXILIARY SOURCE ON”.

VARIOCOLOUR

Adjusts the colour of the display illumination to the dashboard illu- mination.

KEY TONE

After a key is pressed, a short beep is emitted as confirmation. Set volume from 0 to 9 (0 = off).
