Alter access code

Use the access code to gain access to the important menu items.

This code is set to “0000” at the factory.

Be sure to make a note of the new code if you change it.

Enter the old code (in this case “0000”) and press OK.

Enter the new code, press OK. Enter the new code again and press OK again.

Master clear

Using this menu item you can delete the telephone settings.

You can also delete the SIM card settings. Please be careful when using this function!

The following settings will be deleted:

a)Phone

Speed-dial directory Call charges setting Call counter

b)SIM card Speed-dial directory Redial memory Own phone numbers Mailbox numbers SMS messages

AOC

Fixed telephone numbers Preferred networks Preferred language.

If this menu item is selected, you will be re- quired to enter the access code after press- ing OK. Enter the access code, press OK.

Then select “Card” or “Phone” by pressing

<</ >>.

“Clear phone memory?” or “Clear card?” will appear in the display.

Press CL if you want to cancel the process.

Do not press OK unless you want to do a “Master clear”, “cleared” will appear in the display.

The process has been completed when “Master clear” appears in the display.

External alarm

If the ignition is switched off, you can have an incoming call signalled by the car’s horn or flashing lights in addition to the ringing in the car.

For this to operate, you must first

press << / >> to switch the function “External alarm” to ON in the DSC menu.

Switch off the unit with the ignition and switch it on again by pressing the ON button.

If an incoming call is detected, the external alarm will sound five times in succession.

To protect the vehicle’s battery power, the unit will switch off automatically after one hour.

If necessary you can switch on the external alarm again for one hour by pressing the ON button.
