Quick reference for using the telephone

?Anti-theft card protection system In order to be able to operate the tele- phone, you must insert a trained SIM card first.

Using a KeyCard, you can place an emergency call only.

Using a trained SIM card, it is possible to operate all of the telephone’s availa- ble functions, including the telephone mode.

The SIM card also performs the anti- theft functions.

@Rocker switch

Scrolls through the speed-dial directo- ry in the telephone book.

Selects the SMS entries.

Selects the menu items in the tele- phone book and DSC menu.

Moves the cursor to the next line when data is being entered.

Remote control:

To select a telephone number from the speed-dial list: Press ME first.

Makes adjustments for the menu items in the telephone book and the DSC menu.

Displays SMS message.

Allows you to scroll through entries which require more space than availa- ble in the display.

Moves the cursor to the left and right when data is being entered.

AME

To activate the telephone-book menu: Press ME briefly.

Remote control:

To display the tele- phone-book menu in alphabetical order: Press ME briefly. To display the tele- phone-book menu in the numerical order of

the entries: Press ME for approx. 2 seconds.

To quit this function press CL on the set.

BCL (CLEAR) Entry mode

To delete the last digit entered: Press CL briefly.

To delete the entry on display com- pletely, press CL for approx. 1 second.

Menu prompting:

To return to next higher level: Press CL briefly.

To quit the menu:

Press CL for longer than 1 second.

COK

To activate setup menu , to activate call menu :

Press / briefly.

To activate a menu item: Press OK briefly.

To store settings: Press OK briefly.

To store altered parameters: Press OK briefly.
