Using other equipment

»A Listening to an external source

1 Press [INPUT SELECTOR] to select the external source.

Each time you press the button:

TUNER>DVD>TAPE>VCR (EXT)>VDP (AUX)

On the remote control

Press [VCR (EXT)/VDP (AUX)].

2 Operate the unit.

See the unit’s manual for details on connection and operation.

»B Recording an external source

1 Press [INPUT SELECTOR] to select the external source.

2 Select Dolby NR and reverse mode.

3 Press [´ REC PAUSE].

4 Press ["] or [!] to start recording. 5 Start the source to be recorded.

See the unit’s manual for details on connection and operation.

To stop recording

Press [º] on the deck.

To pause recording

Press [´ REC PAUSE].

The deck goes into recording standby mode.

To resume recording press the flashing ["] or [!].

Recording onto an external unit

1Press [INPUT SELECTOR] to select the source to be recorded.

2 Start recording on the external unit and start playing the source to be recorded.
