Press “MENU” , select ADVANCED SETUP, press “ENTER”, select INPUT/OUTPUT, press “ENTER” select NMEA1OUTPUT, NMEA2 OUTPUT or AUTOPILOT OUTPUT. Move the ShuttlePoint knob up or down to choose the sentence and press “ENTER” . A popup window will be shown with on or off selections, use the Shuttlepoint knob to select and press “ENTER” . After the NMEA sentences have been setup, press “CLEAR ” 4 times to return to the Chart page.

3.14.1.1 NMEA2 RTCM Input

The chart plotter has the capability to be connected to a external Differential GPS beacon receiver with an RTCM output of 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200 or 38400 baud rates. By selecting RTCM the Differential Correction Source is automatically set to External RTCM. If RTCM2/RTCM input is different from NMEA or RTCM 4800, the NMEA2 Output is stopped and a warning message will be shown. The default setting is NMEA.

Press “MENU” , select ADVANCED SETUP, press “ENTER” , select INPUT/OUTPUT select “ENTER” , select NMEA2/RTCM INPUT, press “ENTER” , select the appro- priate baud rate and press “ENTER”.

The NMEA inputs are capable of listening to Depth sounders, wind speed and direction instruments, temperature instruments and VHF’s for DSC position request and send functions.

3.14.1.2 Dual Station Operation (Master Slave)

The CP150C is capable of dual station operation, meaning the two CP150C’s can be mounted at two separate locations and receive GPS fix from one antenna.

In fact, if the CP150C is selected as the SLAVE any STANDARD HORIZON GPS Chart Plotter (CP150, CP160 or CP170C) or any GPS capable of outputting NMEA (RMC or GLL and VTG) can be connected to the CP150C for dual station operation.

INTERNAL GPS SETUP + “ENTER”+ OPERATING MODE+ “ENTER” + MASTER + “ENTER”
