7. AIS OPERATION

3.Press appropriate numeric key among 2-5 to choose the type of message you want to see. The example below shows a safety related message (addressed).

5.Press any menu key to close the message display.

7.7.2Automatically displaying messages

You can automatically display a message when it is received.

1.Press the [AIS MENU] key to display the AIS menu.

2.Press the [6] key ([MESSAGE]) to show the MESSAGE menu.

3.Press the [6] key (AUTO DISPLAY) once or twice to choose ON.

4.Press the [ENTER] key.

5.Press the any menu key to close the menu.

When a message is received the “message” display is automatically opened, showing the received message. To close the display, press any key.
