5. RECORDING, REPLAYING DATA

5.2Recording Data

When the track memory becomes full, the oldest track is erased to make room for the latest. Further, when the mark memory becomes full you cannot enter another mark unless you erase a mark. If you need to keep track and marks, save them to a memory card as below.

1.Insert a formatted RAM card into the lower slot.

2.Press the [NAV MENU] and [6] keys to choose CARD.

3.If RECORD is not in reverse video, press the [6] key again.

4.Press the [ENTER] key.

5.Do one of the following depending on what you want to record: - Own ship's track: Press the [2] key.

- Target track:

Press the [3] key.

- Marks:

Press the [4] key.

6.Enter file name. You may use seven figures.

7.Press the [ENTER] key to begin recording. “COMPLETED” appears when the recording has been completed.

8.Press the [NAV MENU] key to close the menu.

5.3Replaying Data

You may wish to replay data on the screen for analysis purposes.

1.Place appropriate memory card in the lower slot.

2.Press the [NAV MENU] and [6] keys.

3.If REPLAY is not in reverse video, press the [6] key again.

4.Press the [ENTER] key.

5.Press appropriate numeric key to choose the file to replay. You can go to the next page by pressing the [0] key.

6.Press the [NAV MENU] key to close the menu.
