7. AIS OPERATION

7.4.3Activating all sleeping AIS targets

1.Press the [AIS MENU] key to open the AIS menu.

2.Press the [7] key (ACTIVATE ALL TARGETS).

3.Press any menu key to close the menu.

7.5Displaying Target Data

7.5.1Basic target data

1.Place the cursor on an AIS target symbol.

2.Press the [AIS DATA] key to show the target’s basic data. The target is marked as below.

Bearing from own ship to target Course over ground Speed over ground

Note: You may also show basic data by pressing the [AIS MENU] key followed by the [3] key (BASIC DATA). Basic data is hidden by the AIS1 menu; close the AIS1 menu to show basic data.
