Reference:Tweaking Tones
Drive – for Tape Delay models, adds some tube warmth.
Flut – for Tape Delay models, adjusts
Heads – for some Tape Delays, enables you to choose from the available combinations of the model’s virtual tape heads.
Speed – is the speed of the modulation for a modulated Delay Model.
| Offset – for Stereo Delays, sets the time for the right side delay line, as a percentage |
5•10 | of the left delay’s Time setting. |
Spread – for Stereo Delays, sets the stereo spread of the delays from mono to hard- panned left and right.
Tone – overall tone control.
Bits – for Low Rez Delay, lets you adjust the delay anywhere from 12 bit resolution down to as few as 4 truly nasty bits. Bear in mind that as you turn the knob clockwise, you’re reducing the bit resolution, so maximum bit reduction is achieved when the knob is all the way up (think of it as a more control for how many less bits you want). Your direct sound, of course, stays full resolution.
