<Trouble 3>

Troubles for USB connection

Pressing the [PLAY] key while holding down

 

the [STOP] key cannot execute the loop play- back function.

<Trouble 1>

Cannot export a WAV file to a personal com- puter.

• Are the LOCATE A and LOCATE B points set

correctly?

By default, both of these points are set to the beginning of a song (i.e. "0m00.000s" or "-2bar 1 00clk"). In this condition, you cannot carry out the loop playback function.

Also, if the LOCATE B point is earlier than the LOCATE A point, you cannot carry out the loop playback function (see page 53).

Is the USB cable connected correctly?

Check the connection, as well as the USB cable (see page 88).

Is the personal computer meets the requirement?

Only Windows Me/2000/XP machines can be used with the MR-8 (see page 88).

Troubles for effect

<Trouble 1>

Cannot apply the effect.

Are the [EFFECT SEND] control for the track you want to apply the effect and track fader brought up appropriately?

The [EFFECT SEND] control for the track you want to apply the effect have to be brought up, otherwise, the track signal is not sent to the internal digital effector (see page 40).

Also, the track fader have to be brought up.

Troubles for power supply

<Trouble 1>

The MR-8 suddenly turned off the power.

Are the plugs of the AC adaptor plugged in firmly?

Check the connection of the AC adaptor with the MR-8 and AC main outlet (see page 17).

Are the batteries empty? (when supplying the power from batteries)

Check the batteries (see page 17).

Other troubles

<Trouble 1>

Cannot hear the rhythm guide click, though the signature/tempo map is set.

Is the "Click level" item in the menu mode set correctly?

By default, this item is set to "Off" and no rhythm guide click is output.

Set it appropriately (see page 85).
