To select a personalized

ring

1Press [ Shift ]

●Red light goes on steadily

2Press [ Hold ]

●Red light next to [ Shift ] winks

●Current ringing pattern plays and repeats every four seconds

●If your 8410 has a display, it shows the ringing pattern you are hearing, such as:

SELECT RING PATTERN: 1

3Continue to press (and then release) [ Hold ] (or, if you are using a display set, you can also press

[ Next → ] or [ ← Prev ] ) to cycle through all eight ringing patterns

4When you hear the desired ringing pattern, press [ Shift ] again

●You hear confirmation tone (two rising tones), and your new ringing pattern is set

●If your 8410 has a display, it shows the number of the ringing pattern you have selected

●Red light next to [ Shift ] goes off

Note: If you receive a call, go off-hook, or lose power during selection, the process is interrupted and you must start again.
