Answering Calls
Special default ring signaling is set for your telephone:
•When you receive an internal call, your telephone rings once every four seconds
•When you receive an external call, your telephone rings twice in rapid succession every four seconds
•When you receive a call from the entrance tele- phone, your telephone rings three times in rapid succession every four seconds
•If a call is waiting, you hear a short tone (beep) every six seconds.
The number or the name of the caller appears on the display.
Answering a Call With the Handset
The telephone rings. The caller appears on the screen.
Lift the handset.
Raise or lower the volume. Keep pressing the key until the desired volume is set.
Answering a Call with the Speaker (Speakerphone Mode)
This function is not available with optiPoint 400 economy.
The telephone rings. The caller appears on the screen.
Press the key. The LED lights up.
Speakerphone mode.
Raise or lower the volume. Keep pressing the key until the desired volume is set.
