6For the initial charge, charge the battery for at least 12 hours.

Note: Every time a battery is plugged in, the phone must be charged in the base for at least 10 seconds for the phone to properly restart.

Using the Expansion Handset

The handset display, soft keys, and navigation keys are used to select the various features and functions of the expansion handset. This section describes how to use these components so you can set up your preferences.
