Dial a directory entry

1.Search for the desired entry in the directory (see Review directory entries or Alphabetical search on page 32).

2.To dial the displayed entry on the cordless handset, press or .

To dial the displayed entry on the telephone base, press .

Edit a directory entry

1.Search for the desired entry in the directory (see Review directory entries or Alphabetical search on page 32).

2.When the desired entry displays, press SELECT. The handset displays Edit number.

3.Use the dialing keys to edit the name.

Press or to move the cursor to the left or right.

Press DELETE to erase a digit.

Press and hold DELETE to erase all digits.

Press and hold PAUSE to enter a dialing pause (a P appears).

4.Press SELECT. The handset displays Edit name. Use the dialing keys to edit the number.

Press or to move the cursor to the left or right.

Press DELETE to erase a character.

Press and hold DELETE to erase all characters.

5.Press SELECT to save the entry. The handset displays Saved and then the revised entry. You hear a confirmation tone.
