Phone Status

Finding Your Phone’s IP Address

If you want to access your phone’s options using an Internet browser, you need to enter the IP address of the phone in the browser to open the Aastra Web UI. Use the following procedure to find your phone’s IP address.

IP Phone UI

1.Press the Options button on the phone to enter the Option List.

2.Select Phone Status and press the 4 key.

3.Select "IP&MAC Addresses" and press the 4 key.

The IP address of your 6731i IP phone displays in the "IP Address" field.

Phone Status via the Aastra Web UI

Use the following procedure to view the phone status via the Aastra Web UI.

Aastra Web UI

1.Open your web browser, enter the phone’s IP address or host name into the address field and press <Enter>.

2. In the Username/Password window, enter your username and password and click

Note: For a user, the default user name is “user” and the password field is left blank.
