TELEPHONE OPERATION

AT THE BASE

Speaker Volume

While on a call, use to adjust the volume

of what you hear.

Base Ringer Volume Switch Use to adjust how loudly the base rings.

Flash Access subscriber services while on a call.

Indicates

handset

is in base

Redial

On steadily: handset or base speakerphone is in use

Flashing quickly:

an extension is in use

Flashing slowly: a call is on hold

Mute

Press Mto prevent your caller from hearing you (you can hear your caller). Press again to deactivate. MUTE light is on when Mute is activated.

Make, Answer, or End a Call

Press K. When calling, use the base keypad to dial or enter a memory location. SPEAKER

Press to call the last number dialed at the base (up to 32 digits).

Hold

Press Hto put a call on hold. The IN USE light flashes. To return to the call, press K.

NOTE: When Hold is active, pressing Pon handset will also return you to the call.
