Caller ID

Operation

You can use this telephone with regular Caller ID ser- vice, and you can use its other features without sub- scribing to either Caller ID or combined Caller ID with Call Waiting service.There may be fees for these ser- vices, and they may not be available in all areas.

Caller ID features will work only if both you and the caller are in areas offering Caller ID service, and if both telephone companies use compatible equipment.

There are also occasions when other information or no information is displayed for various reasons:

phone number. Long-distance calls from

 

overseas also generate this message.

 

 

Contrast Adjustment (base only)

There are four levels of contrast on the screen of the base unit which can be adjusted to suit different view- ing angles for both desktop use or wall-mounting. Press CONTRAST on the base unit to adjust the contrast on the screen.
