Entering a message type in the selection list

1Press . Select Messages.

2 Select Settings .

3 Select Broadcast .

4Select Message types and choose one of the empty

types ([...]). Select OK .

5Select Modify by list (or Modify by code if the type number is known).

6Select the message type you wish to get and select

Valid .

7Select Save to store your setting.

Activating / deactivating the broadcast service

1Press . Select Messages.

2 Select Settings .

3 Select Broadcast .

4Select Reception and

choose On or Off

5Select Save to store your setting.

Reading broadcast messages

Broadcast messages are displayed while the phone is in standby and are deleted while in conversation or oper- ating the menu. A message can be up to 93 characters and may be displayed on several pages.

Options on message display

Press Exit to clear the CB message

All the broadcast messages can be dis- played in several languages.

To select a language:

1Press . Select Messages.

2 Select Settings .

3 Select Broadcast .

4Select Language and choose one of the available languages.
