Alarm clock

This feature allows setting a daily 'Remind- er Alarm'.

To set a time and turn the alarm on:

1Press . Select Office Tools.

2 Select Alarm clock .

3 Select On and enter the alarm time or press OK to validate the displayed time. Confirmation is then dis-

played. is displayed when coming back to the idle screen.

!When 'on' the alarm operates at the same time every day until turned off.

When the alarm time is reached an au- dible alert sounds for 1 minute. Alarm clock and a vibrating bell sym- bol are displayed together with the current time.

If the phone is off at alarm time the phone automatically switches on.

To use the alarm as a Reminder or a Snooze Alarm:

Press No ring , or any other key (except Valid. ) to stop the alarm. The alarm icons re- main on the display and the alarm re-starts ringing 3 minutes later.

or

Press Valid. to acknowledge and end the alarm ringing.

If the phone is locked or if the PIN set- ting is on the phone returns to this locked state after the alarm has rung until you operate it.

If the alarm is acknowledged but not validated the alarm indicators remain on the display for up to 15 minutes (it afterwards either goes back to its 'on' or 'off' previous state).

To turn the alarm off:

1Press . Select Office Tools.

2 Select Alarm clock .

3 Select Off.

!1. If the Valid softkey is not pressed after the 3rd (and final) alarm ringing the ringing is not repeated but the phone remains on for 15 minutes. After those 15 minutes the phone reverts to its state before the alarm sounded.

2.If the phone is being switched on or off at alarm time the alarm clock starts ringing after this transi- tional step is over.

3.If a call is on at alarm time a 'Call in progress' alert beep sounds and a visual alert is displayed every 3 minutes. Validate or acknowledge the alarm the usual way.
