Transferring calls between handsets, conference calls

Outside calls can be transferred between 2 handsets. 2 handsets can have a conference call with an outside party.

1During an outside call, press

{INTERCOM} to put the call on hold.

2{V}/{^}: Select the desired unit. i

{Transfer}

3Wait for the paged party to answer. LIf the paged party does not answer, press {C} to return to the outside

call.

4To complete the transfer: Press {OFF}.

LThe outside call is being routed to the handset.

To establish a conference call: Press {Conf}.

LTo leave the conference, press {OFF}. The other parties can continue the conversation.

LTo put the outside call on hold, press {HOLD}. To resume the conference, press {Conf}.

Answering transferred calls Press {C} to answer the page.

LAfter the paging party disconnects,

you can talk to the outside caller.

Registering a handset

The included handset and base unit are preregistered. If for some reason the handset is not registered to the base unit, register the handset.

2Base unit: KX-TG6021/KX-TG6022/ KX-TG6023

Press and hold {LOCATOR} until the IN USE indicator flashes.

KX-TG6051/KX-TG6052/ KX-TG6053/KX-TG6054 Press and hold {LOCATOR/ INTERCOM} until the IN USE indicator flashes.

LAfter the IN USE indicator starts flashing, the rest of the procedure must be completed within 1 minute.

3Handset:

Press {OK}, then wait until a beep sounds.

4{OFF}

Registering an additional handset See page 5 for information on the available model.

Start from step 2.

Deregistering a handset

3Select the handset you want to cancel by pressing the desired handset number ({1} – {4}).

Note:

LIf you do not use the handset, we recommend removing the battery to prevent malfunctioning.
