Answering System Features

Calling back (Caller ID subscribers only)

If Caller ID information was received for the call, you can call the caller back while listening to a message.

Press {Call} during playback.

Note:

LTo edit the number before calling back, press {Edit} and edit the number (page 29). Then, press {Call}, {C}, or {s}.

Memory capacity

The total recording capacity (including your greeting message and caller messages) is about 15 minutes. A maximum of 64 messages (including a greeting message) can be recorded.

LIf message memory becomes full:

“E” flashes on the base unit.

the ANSWER ON indicator flashes rapidly (if the answering system is turned on).

the unit announces “Memory full” when operating the answering system.

To record additional messages, erase unnecessary messages.

LIf less than 3 minutes of recording time is available, the unit will announce the remaining recording time when operating the answering system.

LMessages are retained even if a power failure occurs. All messages are saved until you erase them. (Flash memory

message backup)

LThe total recording capacity may be reduced by the calling party’s background noise.
