| L lCheck if the STATUS indicator is lit in |
| green. If it is not lit in green, see “STATUS |

| L lYou cannot make a call while the base |
| unit is downloading the software update. Wait |
| until the STATUS indicator stops flashing and |
| changes to steady green. |
| L You may have selected the wrong line by |
| pressing {TEL} or {IP}. Select the appropriate |
| line to call the phone number. |
| L The base unit or another handset is in use. Try |
| again later. |
lI cannot make a call | L The IP line or the answering system is in use. |
