If “REC” flashes rather than “PLAY”, turn the MULT JOG con- trol until “PLAY” is shown flashing.

Note

If the CANCEL button is pressed while setting the minutes col- umn, the procedure returns to the previous step, and the hour column starts flashing. This is convenient for correcting the hour column.

15 While “PLAY” is flashing, press the SET button.

16 Turn the MULTI JOG control on the main unit to set the function to CD or CDR.

17 Press the SET button.

The Daily Timer “DAILY” indicator is shown in the display window confirming that the play mode is set.

When setting the ONCE TIMER, the “ONCE” indicator is shown in the display window confirming that the play mode is set.

displayed once, and then the normal display is restored.

18 Set the power to standby mode.

Notes

Make sure that the unit is put in standby for timer functions to operate.

Match the connected receiver or other source with the unit’s set- ting, and adjust the volume to the appropriate level.

Timer play starts at the programmed start time, and the power is switched to the standby mode at the programmed end time. (The unit power is turned on about two minutes before the pro- grammed start time.)

1 Press the MENU button to display “DAILY TIMER” or “ONCE TIMER”.

2 Press the CANCEL button (main unit/remote control).

“DAILY OFF” or “ONCE OFF” is shown in the information display, the DAILY p (or ONCE p) indicator is cleared from the display window, and the timer operation is canceled.
