8.19.3Deleting Groups from a Scan List

8.19.4Nuisance Delete
A group can also be deleted from the scan list, if it is not the currently selected group, by pressing the
key (P5450 model) or the key (P5470 model) during scan operation while the radio is displaying the unwanted group. The group will be deleted from the system's group scan list in the same manner as if done using the steps above. Deletions done in this manner will not remain deleted if the radio is powered OFF and then powered ON.
8.20SCANNING TRUNKED SYSTEMS
The radio can be programmed using Radio Personality Manager (RPM) with the following System Scan features. Then these features are automatically enabled when the radio is powered ON. A key or menu option is also defined to allow the System Scan features to be toggled during radio operation. The System Scan state will be maintained through system changes but will default to ON when the radio is powered ON.

Press and then use the or buttons to scroll through the selections until SYS SCAN is
displayed. Then press to toggle the System Scan state. The SYSC ON or SYSC OFF display message is displayed for two seconds to show the new state.
