TROUBLESHOOTING & REPAIR

CONTROL TRANSFORMER (T2) VOLTAGE TEST

WARNING

Service and repair should be performed by only Lincoln Electric factory trained personnel. Unauthorized repairs performed on this equipment may result in danger to the technician or machine operator and will invalidate your factory warranty. DESCRIPTION

This test will determine if the correct voltage is being applied to the primary of the control transformer and induced on the secondary winding of the control transformer.

MATERIALS NEEDED

Volt/Ohmmeter (Multimeter) 5/16” Nut driver

IDEALARC R3R Wiring Diagrams (See the Electrical Diagrams section of this manual.)

This procedure takes approximately 17 minutes to perform.
