SPRING CLIP

BEND CLIPS AS NEEDED

Insert forefinger into table-insert slot and pull upward to remove insert.

Replace insert. If clips do not hold insert securely, remove insert and bend clips.

CHECKING BLADE SQUARENESS TO TABLE

1.Loosen ELEVATION LOCK by pulling KNOB forward.

2.Turn ELEVATION crank clockwise until blade is as

high up as it will go.

IMPORTANT: BLADE must be SQUARE (90 ° ) to

TABLE, in order to ALIGN rip fence.

3.Check for BLADE SQUARENESS ... if blade is not square to table, adjust it at this time.

4.Refer to "BLADE TILT, OR SQUARENESS OF BLADE TO TABLE" adjustmenst on page24.

MAKE SURE SQUARE

ATTACHING TABLE EXTENSIONS

1.From among the loose parts find the following hardware:

8 Hex Head Screws 5/16 in. - 18x 1-1/4in. long

8 Lockwashers, 5/16 in. External Type (approx. dia. of hole 5/16 in.)

8 Hex Nuts, 5/16in.- 18 (approx. dia. of hole 5/16 in.)

Insert screws through holes in EXTENSION then through table. Install Iockwashers and screw on the nuts . .. DO

NOT TIGHTEN.

Align front edge of extension with front edge of saw table.

Pull Extension UPWARDS above table surface ...

SLIGHTLY TIGHTEN SCREWS using 1/2 in. wrench.

Using small block of hardwood and hammer, tap extension DOWNWARDS at front, center & rear, until it is EVEN with table surface ... TIGHTEN SCREWS.
