OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

Pre-Start Procedures:

1.Inspect the compressor for any damagedcomponents. Do not operateif compressor is damaged.

2.Verify that the tanks have been drainedand are clearof any moistureor dirt (See “Draining Tank”).

Start-Up Procedures:

1.Verify that the On/Offswitchis in the Off position.

2.Verify that the tank air pressure is at 0 PSI.

3.Attach the air hose to the dischargeline.

4.Plug the unit into a properlygroundedoutlet.

5.Push the On/Off switch to On. The On/Offswitchwill light-upto indicatethe compressoris on. The compressor will automaticallycycle on and off to keep the tank pressure maintained .

6.Adjust the pressure regulatorto the properpressuresettingrequiredfor the air tool.

Shut-Off Procedures:

1. Push in the On/Off switch to the Off position.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE

Service and Maintenance:

Priorto performing serviceand maintenanceto the compressor,alwaysdisconnectall accessories and attachmentsfrom the unit,and disconnectthe compressor from the electrical source and draintank. When replacingparts,only use GenuineBOSTITCH replacement parts.

Notice!: This compressor is equippedwith an oil-freepump. Thereis no oil to replaceor check.

Draining Tank - Ball-StyleDrainValves:

1.Verify that the compressor is turned“Off”.

2.Holdingthe handle, tilt the compressor towardthe drainvalveso it is positioned at the bottom of the tank.

3.Turn the drain valve to open.

4.Keep the compressortilted untilall moisturehas been removed.
