10.Using a straight edge, check to see if the rear of the splitter (G) is aligned with the saw blade, as shown in Fig. 51. If alignment is necessary, loosen the screws (B) Fig. 43, align splitter (G) with the saw blade, and tighten two screws (B) Fig. 43.
11.Lower saw blade and install table insert (P) Fig. 52, in the saw table as shown.
THE TABLE INSERT SHOULD BE LEVEL WITH THE TABLE SURFACE. IF AN
ADJUSTMENT IS NECESSARY, SEE THE SECTION “ADJUSTING TABLE INSERT”.
WHEN INSTALLING THE TABLE INSERT, ALWAYS MAKE CERTAIN TO HOLD ON TO THE BLADE GUARD (L). THE INSERT WILL AUTOMATICALLY RELEASE THE HOLDING ACTION ON THE SPLITTER AND LOWER THE BLADE GUARD WHEN IT IS INSTALLED IN THE TABLE OPENING.
EXTENSION WINGS
1.Attach extension wing (A) Fig. 53, to the saw table. Align the three holes in the extension wing with the three holes in the side of the saw table.

2.Insert the screw through the hole in the extension wing and thread the screw into the tapped hole in the side of the saw table. Finger tighten only. Repeat this process for the two remaining holes in the extension wing and the saw table.
NOTE: MAKE SURE FRONT EDGE OF EXTENSION WING IS FLUSH TO OR SLIGHTLY BEHIND THE FRONT EDGE OF THE TABLE.
3.With a straight edge (E) Fig. 53, align the extension wing (A) level with the saw table before fully tightening the three screws (B). Starting with the screw at the front, tighten the screw while keepng the extension wings aligned with the table. Then, move to the middle screw and follow the same procedure of aligning and tightening. Then do the same for the third screw.

4.Assemble the other sheet metal extension wing to the opposite side of the saw table in the same manner.
